Specialized rolling elements for linear motion and guidance systems. The outer ring runs directly on a track or rail, supporting both load and guidance in one compact unit.
Typical applications: Automation equipment, linear guide systems, conveyor lines, sliding doors, robotics, material handling, packaging machinery.

A track roller bearing is a rolling bearing whose outer ring runs directly on a rail, shaft or track instead of sitting in a housing bore. The outer ring therefore works as both a bearing ring and a wheel: it carries the load and guides the moving part at the same time. That is why profile accuracy, outer-ring wall thickness, sealing and mounting rigidity have to be checked together, not one by one.
Track rollers are used wherever a carriage, gantry, mast or turntable must move along a guide with low friction: linear guides, automation modules, packaging and cutting machines, forklift masts, sliding doors and circular production lines.
The rail decides the roller. A wrong profile creates point contact and edge loading, which wears both the roller and the rail regardless of bearing quality. Identify the rail profile and the mounting method before you compare part numbers.
| Rail / track | Roller profile | Typical series | Typical use |
|---|---|---|---|
| Round shaft or round rail | U-groove or gothic arch | SG, LFR | Linear guides, packaging machines, automation modules |
| V-edge rail | V-groove | LV, VW | Gantries, engraving and cutting machines |
| Ring slide / curved track | V-groove or gothic arch with eccentric studs | Custom | Battery and medical production lines with circular tracks |
| Flat track or channel | Flat or crowned outer ring | FV30, mast rollers, custom | Forklift masts, lift carriages, conveyors, sliding doors |
Series names such as SG, LV and VW are common commercial names, and suffixes and geometry vary by supplier. Replacement must be based on a drawing or a verified sample, not on appearance. Read the full guide to matching a track roller to your rail and the SG, LFR, LV and VW series comparison.
Main dimensions (d × D × B) of our SG, LFR, LV and VW track roller bearings in one printable sheet. Use it to shortlist sizes, then send us the rail drawing or a sample for confirmation.
Download the track roller size chart (PDF)We machine and grind the outer-ring profile in our Cixi factory. We can make rollers to your drawing or reverse-engineer a worn roller from a sample. Options include special groove profiles, polyurethane or POM tyres, eccentric studs and different seals. See how to specify a custom track roller, why polyurethane rollers debond or crack and the guide and straightening roller design guide. For flat guide rollers and aligners, see guide wheels.
U-groove rollers run on round rails or shafts. V-groove rollers run on V-edge rails. Match the roller to the rail profile first, then compare sizes.
LFR gothic-arch rollers run on round shafts or rails and give two-point contact for stable guidance.
Only when the profile, the rolling-contact diameter and the mounting all match. Check the drawing or a sample rather than the series name.
Yes. We make flat and crowned thick-walled rollers for forklift masts and lift carriages, and rollers for sliding and automatic doors.
Yes. Send the sample or clear photos with the main dimensions. We measure the profile, confirm the drawing with you, and then quote.
Send the rail type and dimensions, the existing designation or a photo or sample, the mounting method, load, speed and environment, and the required quantity. You can request a quote here.
Send the part number, dimensions or drawing. We confirm specs, supplier status and lead time before quoting.
